Just before she headed out for the weekend, the speech-language pathologist assigned to our son’s case, came by to tell us that on Monday she would be lifting the order that he be given only minced food.
She was at pains, however, to emphasize that his food must be cut up into very small pieces and that he get only soft foods because “he doesn’t really chew.”
We had suggested at the team meeting – and a number of other times – that perhaps the reason Deane wasn’t eating was that the food he was being offered was not worth the effort.
This was the menu for Deane’s last few days on minced food. You judge how mouth watering it is.

Hello there, just became alert to your blog through Google, and found that it is really informative.
I am gonna watch out for brussels. I’ll be grateful if you continue this in future. Lots of people will be benefited from your writing. Cheers!
Thanks for the encouragement. I enjoy writing it and hope others will continue to comment and join the conversation.
When I originally commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added” checkbox and now each time a comment is added I get four e-mails with the same comment… Is there any way you can remove me from that service?? Thanks a lot! Anaheim Roofing, 1234 East Lincoln Avenue, Anaheim, CA, 92805, US, 714-770-8680
I’m not sure as I don’t control those features of my site – at least I don’t think I do. Try contacting wordpress.com. Sorry I can’t help.
