Food fit for …?

Just before she headed out for the weekend, the speech-language pathologist assigned to our son’s case, came by to tell us that on Monday she would be lifting the order that he be given only minced food.

She was at pains, however, to emphasize that his food must be cut up into very small pieces and that he get only soft foods because “he doesn’t really chew.”

We had suggested at the team meeting – and a number of other times – that perhaps the reason Deane wasn’t eating was that the food he was being offered was not worth the effort.

This was the menu for Deane’s last few days on minced food. You judge how mouth watering it is.

When I originally commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added” checkbox and now each time a comment is added I get four e-mails with the same comment… Is there any way you can remove me from that service??
